Dr. Sellechio is a lifelong Warwick resident and has been practicing optometry in Rhode Island
since 2002. He received his optometric doctorate from the New England College of Optometry
(NECO) in Boston having graduated with clinical honors. He received his bachelors degree in
biology from Rhode Island College after having graduated from Bishop Hendricken High School
in Warwick. Dr. Sellechio provides comprehensive family eye care with a focus on management
of ocular disease including infections, glaucoma, diabetic eye care, and retinal disease. He also
provides complete contact lens care. He is an affiliated Clinical Professor of Optometry with
NECO and the Illinois College of Optometry and teaches optometry at the Providence VA Medical
Center. He is a member of the American Optometric Society, the National Association of VA
Optometrists, and the National Glaucoma Society.

Dr. Gardner grew up in Warwick, having graduated from Toll Gate High School with high honors.
She subsequently received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Boston University and her
optometric doctorate at The New England College of Optometry (NECO). While at NECO, her
diverse clinical education included sites such as community healthcare centers, Veteran's
Association hospitals, and specialty clinics focusing on pediatrics and low vision. She received
clinical honors during her fourth year internship and was the recipient of The William Feinbloom
Low Vision Award for outstanding achievement in low vision. Her clinical interests include
contact lenses, pediatrics, and management of eye diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic eye
disease, dry eye syndrome, and age-related macular degeneration. She has experience speaking
Spanish in several healthcare settings. Dr. Gardner practices complete family eye care and
welcomes new patients of all ages.
